Text: ROBERT WESLEY SCALF, 48, son of Harold and Evelyn Scalf, died suddenly May 3, 2004, in Seattle, Wash. he was born March 17, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended schools in Fort Wayne and earned his M.D. degree from Indiana University in 1990. Memorial service is 9 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5401 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. His ashes will be placed in the grave of his sister, Elizabeth.

Funeral Saturday
Elizabeth B. Roberts, 76, of East Road 475 South, Elizabethtown, died Tuesday at 10:20 a.m. at Bartholomew County Hospital.
She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church and American War Mothers.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Columba Catholic Church with teh Rev. Joseph N. McNally officiating. Burial will be in Springer Cemetery near Elizabethtown. Calling will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hathaway Myers Chapel.
Memorials may be made to St. Columba Catholic Church or the Heart Association
She was born April 4, 1913 in Bartholomew County, the daughter of James L. and Daisy Daugherty Beshear. She was married December 13, 1930 in Carrollton, Ky., to Harold E. Scalf. He died June 12, 1961. She was married on December 1, 1973 in Columbus to John H. Roberts, Sr. He survives.
Also surviving are sons, William A. Scalf, of Grand Rapids, Mich., Harold F. [sic] Scalf of Pocatello, Idaho, Robert A. Scalf of Indianapolis, Richard D. Scalf of Columbus; daughers, Judith Lee of Kanab, Utah, and Barbara Sue Jones of Cedar City, Utah; a stepson, John H. Roberts Jr. of Indianapolis; step-daughter, Rene Roberts of Indianapolis; sisters, Dorothy Smith of Elizabethtown and Ruth Humes of Westport; a brother, Kenneth Beshear of Columbus, 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Word has been received here of the death of Robert Allen [sic] Scalf, 61, of Greenwood. He died Tuesday, Sep 12, 1995, at Indianapolis.
He was a graduate of Columbus High School and Indiana University, with a bachelor's and doctoral degrees in law. He also attended Butler and Brigham Young universities. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Franklin.
He was self-employed in Greenwood for 28 years, until retiring in 1990.
Funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mormon Church in Franklin, with Bishop Rick Carlson officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Wilson St. Pierre Greenwoood Chapel. Burial will be at Springer Cemetery.

Mr. Scalf was born in Columbus Sept 20, 1933, the son of Harold and Myrtle Elizabeth Scalf. He married Marilyn Conrad May 29, 1958, in Indianapolis. She survives.
Other survivors include a duaghter, Kathy Lykins of Columbus, sons John Keaton of Greenfield and David Scalf of Indianapolis: brothers, Harold of Idaho, William Scalf of Michigan, and Richard Scalf of Columbus: sisters Judy Lee of Kanab City, Utah, and Sue Jones of Cedar City, Utah and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Alan Scalf.
